Hey Friends! Welcome to my October newsletter! Can you believe it's already October? I guess time flies when you're spending all your time at home, trying to avoid a deadly pandemic. I hope you're staying safe and healthy. Read on for some news on Fire Power, Batober and the next Doodle Sale!

FIRE POWER #4 OUT TODAY

Fire Power #4 is out today!

If you're new to the series, don't forget there is a prequel OGN (the #1 selling OGN in July!!) that you order at your local comic shop (Diamond code FEB200019) . If you don't have a local comic shop, it can also be ordered on Amazon or Barnes & Noble or Powells or your bookstore of choice.

BATOBER

Oh yes! Batober is here! This year, I asked for prompt suggestions on an Instagram post and you guys really delivered! Here's a few pieces if you're not already following along on Instagram or Twitter. Thank you for all the kind comments and likes - it's been so fun to watch other artists join in.

COMMISSION UPDATE

Quick commission update - I've finished the September spots and will be working on the October spots soon. Thanks to everyone who is still patiently waiting!

SHOP UPDATE - DOODLE SALE!

And lastly, it's time for the final doodle sale of the year! Apologies to those that felt frustrated by how quickly the last batch of doodles went. Unfortunately, there is just not much we can do aside from charging more or putting them up for auction. We like keeping these pieces affordable but we understand the frustration when things sell out of your cart (Big Cartel does not hold items in your cart) and we are sorry for that.

Sale will be this Saturday, October 10th at 11 am central in my big cartel store. A preview of all the pieces up for sale should be live on Friday (hopefully Friday morning). Please have patience with the shipping time for the doodles - Laura will try to have them all shipped within a week or two but she is running slow (virtual and homeschooling kids) and USPS is running slow too - so it might not be as quick as it usually is.
