HELLO EVERYONE!!

     Within the past few months, we have been dealing with the COVID-19 pandemic and we have learned how resilient we are. It was and is a time for clarity. All of our lives have changed in one form or another.
      During this time I have chosen to paint...but to first take care of those in need. 
     My time in the studio and gallery seemed more special to me and I feel more grateful every day. I have chosen a path and have stayed focused on all the good that is around us and stayed with positive thoughts and actions. We all have that choice.
     So...here is looking ahead to a better 2021. In the upcoming months, I am excited to be represented by a new, up-and-coming gallery! I will send selected works chosen by the gallery owner, Dr. Shannon Barnes, which will be going to Woodstock, Georgia close to Atlanta. It is The Tranquility Fine Arts Gallery, a new and progressive gallery. The opening will be sometime in December and I will send a follow up closer to time with more information.
     In 2021, I am looking forward to my solo exhibition at The University of Alabama Gallery with Daniel White as the curator and in cooperation with Dr. Joe Messina, Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences at the University of Alabama. I thank you both for the honor and kind invitation to come back to my alma mater to exhibit my work.
     I have just finished six new works since March when the quarantine first began. I have three more paintings and then I will begin a new sculpture piece and very excited to do so. 
      It is such a pleasure to see so many steadfast collectors, friends and first-time visitors visiting me in the studio. Thank you!
    Since I have taken the time to look over my decades of painting, I realize it has been a privilege to do something that I love. I also realize when you come into the studio it is a gift...a bonus for me to share with you what I love. Whether you have never painted or just enjoy art, it is a connection. Sometimes, you tell me you’ve always wanted to paint and there is that spark that you might just pick up a brush and start on your own journey to paint, those are special moments.
     So for now, it is time to say thank you again to all of you that have graced our gallery doors.
