Happy Fall
Welcome to a new year with your Treasure Coast chapter of the Florida Public Relations Association. I am excited to take on the role of president and look forward to carrying on the transformative theme set by past Treasure Coast president Jenny Tomes, APR, and State President Allyson Lundell, APR, CPRC.

Like the second half of last year, we have an uncertain road ahead of us this year. But I believe our chapter dealt with all the unexpected twists and turns by being resilient and innovative. And I know we will continue to do that in the months to come!
For now, we will continue to host our monthly chapter meetings and professional development opportunities online via Zoom. In this new Zoom era, we have learned how important videos have become to our profession. We invite you to join us at our next meeting on Tuesday Oct. 20 at 10 a.m. with Kenneth George of Ironside Press, who will be speaking about the Power of Videography in Building Brand Reputation. We hope to see you there. We’ll conduct a short chapter meeting before his presentation. You can register on the link below.
Please be assured our chapter has a very strong broad taking the lead this year to help us navigate any more unexpected turns, and we look forward to seeing all your faces whether it’s in person (maybe next year?) or on Zoom. And remember, October is Membership Month. If you haven’t already turned in your membership renewal, I encourage you to take a few minutes to send so you can continue to access all of the benefits of being a member of this excellent organization.
