We can all help prevent suicide. The Lifeline provides 24/7, free and confidential support for people in distress, prevention and crisis resources for you or your loved ones, and best practices for professionals.

In a recent publication led by Dr. Ekaterina Likhtik and her research team at Hunter College, we describe a new method for understanding the role of safety learning in anxiety.

Student Accomplishments

Emotion Regulation Lab members, Roshan Chudhry, Olivia Gerringer, Hanna Culang, and Wai Man Wong, were recently awarded APS Convention Psi Chi Society Research Awards for their poster presentations at the 32nd Annual APS virtual convention.

Dr. Tracy Dennis-Tiwary is a Professor of Psychology at Hunter College and The Graduate Center of the City University of New York, the Director of the Emotion Regulation Lab, and the Co-Executive Director of the Hunter College Health Technology Center. She also created the mobile app, Personal Zen, a scientifically-validated tool for reducing stress and anxiety.
