The past few weeks have been a whirlwind. While we’re still facing hurdles, a number of clients have reached out to us and have begun to book their upcoming travel.
One of the most exciting projects we’ve been working on is an October 2021 trip through South Africa by motorcycle. We’ve finalized the details and are now in the process of writing the copy for our itinerary, but we wanted to give all of our friends a brief preview of our plans. Here’s the rough outline: the journey will begin in Cape Town and over a period of two weeks we will make our way to Johannesburg. The scenery and the riding will be stunning: vineyards, farms, sinuous oceanside roads, and high mountain passes. We’ll enjoy great food, wonderful wines, and stunning lodges. Among the highlights of the trip is an extended visit to Kruger National Park, one of the world’s great nature preserves.
And, we didn’t turn to just any guy with a motorcycle and a map to put this together; we have worked hand in (leather) glove with the gent who is, in our view, the world’s leading expert in motorcycle touring, John Jesson, the President and CEO of Ayres Adventures.
We’ll be sharing the full itinerary within a few days, and we have already received expressions of interest for the very limited number of participants, which we are capping at 12.
