Join our board!

The Old Farm District Neighborhood Association is actively recruiting volunteers and potential new board members!

We’d love to get to know you and chat about what interests you.

While there is no preference given, here are some of the skills we are looking for:

  • Spanish language skills
  • Able to fill board Secretary role
  • Interest in serving as liaison to local schools, parks, or other organizations
  • Tech skills, like social media, website maintenance, or photography
  • Knowledge of land use regulations

Serving on the board does require a time commitment with at least one meeting per month and some work between meetings (typically 5-10 hours per month)

Volunteers can serve in official capacities as committee chairs or just drop in when you have time.

Get in touch if you might be interested! Please include a phone number as we’d love to chat and learn more about you.

City Council Debates on Neighborhood Issues

There are opportunities for you to hear from local candidates practically every day between now and election day!

Our neighborhood associations hosted two debates, viewable online:

48-acre Addition to the Easton Master Plan

A notice of public meeting was received by OFDNA relating to the Easton Master Plan on 15th Street. The meeting will discuss plans to incorporate an additional 48-acres into the Master Planned area.

This would entail nearly all the vacant land in the immediate area south of The Bridges and east of 15th Street. It includes areas designated with a special “opportunity zone” tax status.

The meeting will be held virtually on October 21 at 5:30pm.

Register for the meeting at pahlischhomes.com/easton (registration required unless joining by phone).

More details are included at our website.

Murphy Road bridge begins construction!

The BNSF Bridge Crossing has begun construction and is expected to be completed in August 2021!
