We love spring in Griffith at the best of times, and as we continue to see a surge in regional travel and things starting to get better every month, it’s so pleasing to be able to say October has certainly been another busy month!
We are noticing a lot of our visitors are staying longer, to truly experience the authentic essence of Griffith; our genuine country hospitality, our food, our wine and our many cultures! One of our most endearing features is Banna Ave, our attractive tree-lined main street with an enviable strip of enticing boutiques, gift shops, galleries and Italian cafes. As the days are now longer, it’s the perfect time to window shop with a gelato or relax at an outdoor café with a glass of local pinot grigio and watch the passer by.
We look forward to welcoming you on your next trip to Griffith and please don't forget to book ahead to avoid disappointment.
TORI HORDER - Tourism Ambassador
Tori is a passionate local who opens her garden, 'Davit Farm', for Griffith Spring Fest and has done for over 25 years. "When you come to Griffith, you really get a surprise but it is such a veritable oasis. You might think, it's a long way to come - in fact, it's 100 miles too far. But the very fact that we are 100 miles too far is the best thing about us. Our achilles' heel is in fact our strongest point. Because we're this far, we have a town that's all-encompassing, that's totally self-sufficient. And that's a vibe that you can actually feel when you're in Griffith "
