We love spring in Griffith at the best of times, and as we continue to see a surge in regional travel and things starting to get better every month, it’s so pleasing to be able to say October has certainly been another busy month!
We are noticing a lot of our visitors are staying longer, to truly experience the authentic essence of Griffith; our genuine country hospitality, our food, our wine and our many cultures! One of our most endearing features is Banna Ave, our attractive tree-lined main street with an enviable strip of enticing boutiques, gift shops, galleries and Italian cafes. As the days are now longer, it’s the perfect time to window shop with a gelato or relax at an outdoor café with a glass of local pinot grigio and watch the passer by.

GRAIN HARVESTING
At this time of year as you're driving into the region, you may notice grain harvesters in the roadside paddocks. This region produces an impressive 150,000 tonnes of grain per annum, mainly wheat and malt barley!
