Did you make an ECC donation through your company in order for your employer to match it?  

Some employers, like Wells Fargo & Duke Energy, use a procedure that requires you to make your ECC donation to YOUR COMPANY's giving/matching platform, and then your company in turn gives the McAlpine PTO that amount + their matching amount (i.e., you pay $50 to your company's gifting platform, and then your company donates $100 to McAlpine PTO).

to notify us that your donation AND your company’s match will be coming through your company’s charitable giving program.

Otherwise, the McAlpine PTO is not notified that you have made a donation, and we therefore cannot account for those funds in our records.  It can take weeks to months for the money to make its way to us, as most companies only issue these funds on a quarterly basis.  And when it does come, we are not able to determine which families have contributed in order to recognize you and send you a tax receipt! 

Please join the McAlpine Elementary School PTO so you can play an active role in contributing to decisions regarding how we spend PTO dollars, which programs and activities we provide for student enrichment, and what opportunities are available to support our children and teachers so they can continue to attain excellence in education!

Annual McAlpine Elementary PTO membership dues are $10 per family.  Family membership designates up to three adults as general body members. Join and pay the annual dues on your Pay4SchoolStuff account.

The Charlotte Mecklenburg Public Library and CMS have a partnership called: ONE Access, or “One Number Equals Access,” which uses students' school identification numbers instead of separate library cards. With their ONE Access account, students can:

• Access Library research databases

• Borrow digital materials such as e-books, e-audiobooks, magazines, music and video

• Borrow up to 10 print or audiobooks (no DVDs or music CDs)

There are no overdue fines for ONE Access accounts, but users are responsible for fees on lost or damaged books.

• All CMS students are automatically enrolled in this program and can use their school ID number to access library services. The default PIN is the student's 4-digit birth year.
