What's up Techie Squad?

As we step into the final months of 2020, it's proven to be a special month and a special time to be a woman in Africa.

Lets be honest, women have been winning a lot lately!

However, not everyone has been riding on this high wave. There is a lot more untapped potential, uncharted waters and unfulfilled dreams because of the elephant in the room: Imposter Syndrome.

Imposter syndrome can be defined as a collection of feelings of inadequacy that persist despite evident success.

Academy Award winning actress Lupita Nyong'o recently addressed a crowd of over 10,000 women in Boston, recounting the emotional ups and downs of her career leading up to her 2013 feature debut in 12 Years a Slave.

She admitted to battling with fear of failure on set, despite being an exemplary actress, "without the possibility of being bad at something, you will never be extraordinary," Lupita said.

Just like Lupita, your dreams may be so improbable but don't let Imposter Syndrome hold you back hun!

You are 100% that queen, go get 'em.

Opal Tometi, co-founder of Black Lives Matter: 'I do this because we deserve to live'

Maybe Opal Tometi is not the image of a great US civil rights leader that lives in your head.

She doesn’t need the sonorous tones of a Southern Baptist preacher to make her point, she has social media. As one of the three founders of Black Lives Matter, Opal Tometi has helped to reignite the civil rights movement. >>READ MORE
