ELECTION DAY VOLUNTEERS FOR RD38
POLL WATCHERS
We still need more Poll Challengers (Poll watchers) for Election Day. If we don’t get enough, we’ll be force to cut back on which polling places we can cover and/or for how much of the voting day. I’m not going to repeat in this message all I’ve written about this job, but, I am encouraging those readers that might be the least bit willing to consider doing it to read more (docx). Even short shifts can help with coverage. Please contact Mohammad (mohammad.akhter2@gmail.com) to indicate that you are willing to consider helping with this job.
POLL GREETERS
At this point we have commitments for at least minimal coverage at all locations except Selbyville Middle School. There are a number of open slots there in the afternoon. Please contact Mary Lentowski at marylentowski@gmail.com.
Additional greeters would be welcome at most of the polling places. Or, people could volunteer to be on call if someone needs to back out. Contact information for all seven coordinators is:

EARLY VOTING DATA
As of Friday, 10/23, 177 thousand Delawareans have received mail in or absentee ballots. This is 40 percent of the total votes cast for president in 2016. I have posted a table with more information on this for those that might be interested (pdf or xlsx).
VOTE
Get your ballot in or vote in person. Remember the only place to drop off mail in or absentee ballots is at the election office in Georgetown. You can’t do in at a polling location. More details on voting are available at elections.delaware.gov. If you’ve sent in a ballot and wonder if it has gotten to the election office, you can find out at ivote.de.gov.
