Thank You @BHCCBoston for making Open Access Week a Success!!
We were so excited to see so many of you at our Open Access events this past week and we were honored to have the opportunity to celebrate the staff, students and faculty who make Open Education available at Bunker Hill.
A great note to end the week was the announcement that BHCC's Student Trustee, Niki Nguyen, was appointed to the Massachusetts Department of Higher Education's OER Advisory Council. Niki's work to advance Open Education in the Commonwealth was recognized as "exemplary" by Robert Awkward, DHE's Assistant Commissioner of Academic Effectiveness.
Over the next two weeks we will continue to grow our Open Education program by offering opportunities for faculty to participate in the Open Education Network. Check out the "Virtual Training Opportunities" section for more information.
Check Out Our New ePortfolio!
All of AIDE's resources are being made available in our new ePortfolio site. If you have ideas of what information we should be adding or sharing - please let us know. Send an email to aide@bhcc.edu.

Our students have the best ideas!
Have you been sharing videos through Webex? Tired of the tiny screen size of your YouTube clips? Try "Watch2Gether" instead. You can use this app to have students join you in a "viewing room" online to watch clips or videos from sites like YouTube, Vimeo or Amazon Prime.
Many thanks to our BHCC students who introduced us to this app.
