Cullman County Highlights

November 2020 Edition

From the desk of Tony Glover......

Dear Folks,

This year has been a tough one for everyone and especially hard for those who have been impacted personally due to health struggles or even the loss of someone near and dear to you and your family.  However, we dare not lose hope because there is always something to be thankful for happening in our lives.  As we approach the time of year when we express our thankfulness my hope for you is that you and your family will have an opportunity to share some time together.  If your family is like mine you will find that different people have different levels of caution when it comes to large gatherings.  Please be considerate of others that may not have the same level of comfort as others.  Try to include them in some way even if they don’t feel comfortable in a group setting.  We held a Zoom call for family earlier in the pandemic and it was a lot of fun.  My in-laws did not know anything about using this technology so a nearby relative went to help and manage the call.  Everyone enjoyed the face to face time.  It is not as good as a hug but better than a phone call.

The County Extension office has certainly had our share of Zoom meetings and you will find information below on some upcoming learning opportunities on many topics.  Check out the information below by clicking on the links provided.  Have a blessed and Happy Thanksgiving.  Call on us anytime we can be of service.
