The Alameda County Health Officer issued Health Order 20-08 requires the wearing of Face Coverings, with limited exceptions. Repair of Damaged and Displaced Sections of Curbs, Gutters and Sidewalks Unit 25, Eden Township. The work to be done consist, of providing a traffic control system; saw cutting and removing the damaged sections; placing aggregate base as cushion material; placing concrete forms; reconstructing the damaged portions of concrete or asphalt sidewalks, driveways, pedestrian ramp, curbs and gutters; saw cutting, removing, and replacing a minimum twelve (12) inches wide section of asphalt concrete pavement adjacent to the gutter; removing existing roots; installing root control barriers; restoring any disturbed lawn and planting areas to their original condition or better; and such miscellaneous work, including removal of concrete forms, disposal off-site of all unsuitable materials, and cleanup of the site.

The CARES Arts Fund is distributing $1,425,000 in the form of grants up to $3,000 for individual artists, and grants up to $20,000 for small arts nonprofits based on budge size. Small businesses can also apply to separate grant opportunity for up to $10,000. Oakland-based nonprofits can also apply for grants of up to $25,000

City of Oakland Expanded COVID-19 Testing
The City of Oakland is partnering with Brown and Toland to provide free COVID-19 testing to people who live or work in Alameda County regardless of insurance or immigration status.
Testing is available to anyone who is working or volunteering outside the home who has symptoms (fever, cough, and shortness of breath) or who has been exposed to COVID-19.

From 2-1-1 Alameda County: Free Flu Vaccines Available
FamilyWize and Walgreens have partnered to provide free flu vaccination vouchers for uninsured California residents. If you are uninsured and would like to receive a free flu shot voucher, please call 211 to be connected with one via email. Through this program, these free flu vaccine vouchers are available in limited quantities on a first come-first serve basis, and are valid through March 15, 2021. To keep communities safe during COVID-19 conditions, Walgreens will only administer flu vaccinations at their stores.

Alameda County Emergency Rental Assistance Program
The Emergency Rent Assistance Program (ERAP) is designed to assist very low- to low-income families and individuals who are suffering a temporary financial setback due to the COVID-19 public health emergency and need help with delinquent rent and achieve housing stability.
Rent assistance in the form of a grant for tenants experiencing an inability to pay rent due to a loss of income related to the COVID-19 public health emergency. Up to two months’ worth of rent or $3,500; if previously assisted through another rental assistance program up to one month’s rent or $1,750. The form of assistance will be a grant paid directly to the landlord.
