Hey Alabama Alumni & Friends!
Tough loss of Jaylen Waddle this past Saturday with the victory over UT, which makes that 14 in a row over UT. As for Waddle, his surgery was reported successful and with 6-8 week recovery that we wish him well with!
This Saturday, 10/31, we face MISS ST in Tuscaloosa. Though MISS ST had a big game to start the season, they have struggled since, but don't count them as a push over! Tune in or join one of our watch parties this coming Saturday to cheer on the Tide! ((PS - It is also Coach Saban's Birthday!))
For your calendars, we have a BYE week NOV. 7th, and then return to action on Nov. 14th against LSU in Baton Rouge.
**reminder that you can only make game reservations to week of that game.**
Below are all the details on our watch parties should you be interested in attending. As a reminder, all locations are on limited capacity.
If you aren't feeling well, have any COVD symptoms, please watch the game at home.
All three of our watch partners are now accepting reservations, and reservations will close on Friday @ Noon. See below for details!
If you plan on attending it is REQUIRED to follow proper social distancing guidelines and regulations in place for Colorado and the watch location. Bars and restaurants are under very strict guidelines, rules, AND PENALTIES in order to operate, and we support our partners in all rules and regulations necessary for everyone's health safety! Please represent us respectfully should you choose to attend, and keep in mind that everyone is doing the best they can in these conditions.

The Old Man - North West Denver, (Boulder, Broomfield, Arvada)
https://www.theoldmanbar.com/
All three locations are following all the state & city guidelines and requirements for capacity, spacing, and cleaning, along with their own extra cleaning measures to provide a safe experience for customers and staff.
These are basic informal/non-hosted watch gatherings at dedicated locations for Bama to allow for watching together for those that feel comfortable in attending. Sadly we cannot offer any merch sales, promotions, raffles, etc at this time.
Because of the limitations on capacity, all three will utilize RESERVATIONS ONLY for a block of time around Alabama Games specifically FOR Alabama Games. This is a MAJOR gift with the limitations they are dealing with and in consideration to their normal business. Please note that capacity is different at each location.
If you want to be here while the Bama Game is on, YOU WILL HAVE TO HAVE A RESERVATION - This is for PATIO seating and INSIDE seating.
- Reservations for tables are for 4 - 8 people. Reservations for 1-2 people can be made for the bar for the College Inn, and the Varsity Inn & The Old Man can accommodate 2 top-reservations, but please check with each location for what they have available. All seating will be spaced out. You cannot pull tables together outside of how they are set up.
** Please respect the other patrons around you with maintaining proper spacing. EX - Please only High-Five one another in the same group and table.**
- Reservations are a week at a time, opening Monday of that week, and have to be made by NOON the Friday before the game.
- You will have to pick inside or patio seating as part of your reservation. Your reservation choice of the patio is for rain or shine. If you change your mind day of b/c of weather, you will have to go on the wait list for an inside table.
- Walk up Wait list - You can try to get a table day of by joining a walk-up wait list where you will have to wait outside, masks on, socially distanced until tables become available.
- Once bar capacity is reached, it is one in - one out. If there is a wait, and you walk out, you will have to wait to get back in.
- You must claim your table 30 minutes prior to game time. This is also as EARLY as you can claim your table. If you do not show up in time for them to get through the reservation list, the table WILL be given away to the walk-up list.
- You are required to wear a mask within the establishment at any point that you are not seated at your table. If you are standing or walking around, you have to wear your mask. --You cannot Drink and Stand -- If you do not comply with this, you will be asked to leave. <--- this is important as this is part of Government regulations for the bar which results in FINES. Please do not give them a hard time about this.
Reservations are first come, first serve, and may fill up well before Friday at Noon.
- Everyone will be starting a tab with a credit/debit card, no exceptions. This is part of how food and drinks are handled and delivered with the Covid Set up.
NO PHONE RESERVATIONS!!
Send your reservation request to the following by location:
The College Inn - gm@collegeinndenver.com
The Varsity Inn - gm@thevarsityinn.net
The Old Man - gm@theoldmanbar.com
The College Inn, The Varsity Inn, and The Old Man are entirely responsible for the management of the reservations. We cannot assist you in getting seating placement or preference. Please be considerate to them as they are going out of their way in offering this option and at great consideration to Alabama Alumni and Fans.
AND AS ALWAYS - THE BAR HAS THE RIGHT TO DENY SERVICE AS THEY SEE FIT.
We will continue to make decisions upon what the situation is at that time, and continue to keep you posted as that evolves for our plans and activities.
I greatly appreciate everyone's understanding with navigating these challenges.
ROLL TIDE.
