On Friday we invite you to join us for one of two Holy Hours offered in reparation for all blasphemy and sacrilege, especially in reparation for the Satanic Black Mass taking place in Noosa that evening, and for the conversion of those involved and those attending.

Black Masses are rituals based on the Catholic Mass inverted towards Satan and are a way to mock God. Regardless of the beliefs of those involved, a Black Mass invites demonic forces into a community; disrupting peace, and contributing to the growth and spread of violence, the culture of death, sin and error into that community, and this case, into our diocese. This is very much the case when the Black Mass has been sanctioned by the the Local Noosa Council as it takes place in a Council building.

The true battle ground for good and evil is the human heart. Christ came to destroy the power of sin and to cast out demons, a ministry that he continues in His Church. Through His death and resurrection Christ has conquered victoriously over the power of Satan, the Father of Lies, and for this reason the victory is already assured as we unite our prayers to Christ.

We invite all Catholics to join us in making reparation for these offences, to overthrow and destroy the forces of darkness that this blasphemous act introduces into our community, and to pray for the conversion and healing of those involved and attending, by joining us for one of the Holy Hours of Reparation in Mary Immaculate Church on Friday at 7:30pm-8:30pm or 8:30pm-9:30pm where we will have a Rosary and prayers of reparation before the Blessed Sacrament. We ask you to book in for one of these Holy Hours to allow as many people as possible to attend. For those praying at St Elizabeth's Chapel on Friday night through to Saturday morning, we also invite you to offer your holy hours for these intentions as well.

The Fathers and Brothers of the Oratory.

“Offer prayers and sacrifices constantly to the Most High… Make of everything you can a sacrifice, and offer it to God as an act of reparation for the sins by which He is offended, and in supplication for the conversion of sinners. You will thus draw down peace upon your country” - Angel of Portugal to the Fatima Visionaries.
