Principal's Corner
Good Morning,
The next BIG thing coming your way is Trunk or Treat! on Friday, October 30th. If you haven't signed up to decorate a car, give the office a call. We have had about 20 sign ups and have room for a few more. We are limiting the parents on campus just to their cars for this event, parents will not be able to parade with their children. Additionally, we will be locking the gates prior to the event for the safety of our students.
The 30th will be a big day around here, it's also the day our 7th and 8th grade students return. We can't wait to welcome you back!

Morning Daycare begins 10/26
We will be opening for morning daycare beginning Monday, October 26th at 7:00 am. Our morning daycare is held in the cafeteria and students need to be dropped off at the North cafeteria doors, next to the water fountains. Please do not park and walk your child in. Students are NOT to be dropped at the sidewalk on Sutter Street, Fremont Street or North Street. Due to our new drop off procedures, your child must be in the cafeteria no later than 7:30 am for the safety of your child and to avoid traffic congestion in our parking lot. Extended care rates will apply to students being dropped off in the morning.

Auction News
Due to county restrictions, our annual auction dinner was cancelled this year. Unfortunately, we had already purchased plants for the centerpieces. We have quite a few of the spider plants left for sale. The prices are on the photos. We are offering no contact payment and local delivery. If you are interested, please text JoAnna Machado Perez at 209-815-2256 with your choice. She will then get back to you with payments instructions.

Pie Fundraiser
Our CLASS FUNDS Pie Fundraiser is going on now! Order forms have gone home. Funds raised ($6 from each pie) through this sale stay in your child's classroom. Frozen pies will be available at dismissal on November 9th during drive-thru pick up.
Checks may be made out to St. Anthony's Catholic School.

School Shirts - Embroidery
We have an order processing right now and it should be delivered soon. Once these are delivered our next order will go in to be embroidered. I have some M youth red polo shirts with the embroidery for $10 in stock. You may call the school office if you are interested in purchasing one that already has the logo.

Scrip News
Please call the school office at 823-4513, or send an email to scrip@sasmanteca.org to place a scrip order. Remember to include a contact number. Any items we do not have in stock will automatically be put on back order unless otherwise stated by you.
Many of you are already using the online ShopWithScrip program. This is an excellent way to earn your Scrip profit on the go! They have just added a mobile app RaiseRight. While taking advantage of the convenience of an online/app transaction, please be aware that you can ONLY purchase e-cards or reload a previously purchased card. ALL physical cards must be ordered through our Scrip office.

COVID Daily Student Health Screening
A daily health screening is to be completed each day for in-person instruction here on campus. As a reminder, you will find the COVID Response Form in your Family Portal, under the "Web Forms" tab. Please complete this each day before you drop off your students.

Library Hours
Our school library is open to check out books from 7am to 4pm daily. We can also make arrangements for you to check out books during evening hours or the weekend. Just call the school office and we will work out a time to meet you here. Books may be returned at any time in the school office mail drop, at the front of the school by the lower wing gate, or call the school to renew.

Join Cub Scout Pack 432

Hello Parents!
We are starting work on the yearbook for this year! Normally, we begin selling yearbooks in the beginning of the year, but this year “normal” is out. We will be selling yearbooks beginning in January once we have a better idea of what the book will look like. In the mean time, we are hoping for your help gathering photos since so many of our students are Distance Learning and on-campus activities are minimal.
The best way for you to share photos for yearbook consideration is through our Herff Jones eShare account. You can either download the app (HJ eSHare) for easy upload or you can upload from a web browser. Go to HJeShare.com and enter our school code: Roadrunner2021
We have attached “5 EASY TIPS for taking great pictures for the yearbook” to increase your chances of having your photos selected, and we will be sending out different topics for photo submissions. This week we are interested in collections - See the attached flyer for further details. Include the word “COLLECTION” and any other explanation in the Description field. Halloween Costumes
As you are purchasing Halloween costumes to be worn to school or thinking of decorating a car for Trunk and Treat, please remember that they should not be scary, violent or bloody in nature. (If you have been to the Spirit Store you will see that this may be a difficult task, but it can be done.)
