We are sad to announce that our PYOP Studio on Main and our online store is closed indefinitely to new orders and new events. Keeping things running during COVID-19 restrictions and a very small staff (just Julie!) has proved too much for our tiny non-profit to keep Studio on Main open.

Our main location is still currently closed due to COVID restrictions.  We look forward to reopening when the time is safe!  Our teachers miss everyone, have a million new ideas, and can't wait to get back in to teach.

We will absolutely make time to fire any outstanding pottery and allow you to pick up fired pre COVID closure pottery on a couple of defined dates that will be announced soon.

We do have a hard deadline for dropping off pottery at Rustic Cabin Coffee for firing: last day is Tuesday, October 27th at 5pm.  ONLY for dropping off finished pottery to be fired.

Times that Julie will be at Lower NWAC for you to pick up fired pottery only:

Friday October 23rd from 2-6pm.
Thursday October 29th from 2-6pm.

If you have other PYOP questions, please send email to ASAP and Julie can sort it out.

Our October Mug Glazing event is still happening! Attendees, Julie has sent an email to you with more information.
"I just wanted to let you know that I’m am leaving the art center at the end of the month. I have really loved my time at the Northwest Art Center. It truly has been my happy place. I have so many wonderful memories of all the people I’ve had the pleasure of interacting with through teaching classes to toddlers through adults and all the drop in customers while managing Studio on Main. One of my favorite things was getting to know the awesome adults with disabilities through Bridge of Promise while working with various art mediums. My motto has always been ‘change is good’. Well 2020 has definitely thrown a lot of change at us. With the ‘new normal’ that Covid has brought, it has also pushed me to make changes of my own. I’m leaving the art center for the challenge of starting my own arts and crafts business. I’ll still be around and look forward to partnering with the art center in the future. The Northwest Art Center is a wonderful resource to the community and I hope it is around for many years to come."

We are still accepting Donations!  We are currently in a low power mode as we assess how NWAC can survive continued closures due to COVID-19 restrictions.
