     Royal Ridges Retreat was incredibly blessed to host day campers this summer. The pandemic has created a challenge on how we carry out our programs and mission. We are a non-profit organization that thrives on creating unique social interactions to reach all those who come to our property with the Gospel message. Despite these challenges, we are blessed to have a thriving Day Camp program that was deemed essential by the department of health allowing us to run summer day camps this year. 
     Following state and local guidelines, we have also converted many of our fall programs into family day events to provide space for families to get outside and create memories. It also allows us to continue to carry out our mission. The Giddy-up program was created to provide a weekly day camp experience for students during distance learning. We have been blessed to have campers here every week since the end of summer. 
     This year has not been an easy one for us, yet God has been so very faithful, and we know that His will be done. Royal Ridges is His camp, and we are stewards of it, working diligently to carry out the mission He set before us. We are looking forward to next summer and are already at work creating the programs and new activities to continue our 42-year legacy. We are moving one step closer to Christ by reaching the unsaved with the gospel of Jesus Christ through love and personal example.

                                                                           

      Make lasting memories with your family and join us for a fun-packed adventure with horses, delicious desserts, and pumpkin painting.  Sign up for a start time and come join us on October 31st. We will start a new family group every hour and a half beginning at 9 am. It is $180 per family up to 4 people and $20 for each additional person with a maximum group size of 8. Our Winter Day Camp is a 3-day program filled with fun Christmas or New Year's themed activities and crafts. Two different dates are available. Week 1 is December 21-23 and Week 2 is December 28-30. Check-in begins at 8:30 am and pick up is at 3:30 pm each day. Space is limited so sign up soon. Age groups are Kindergarten through 6th Grade. Cost is $90 per camper with additional add-ons such as our horse option, a special time set aside each day for your young horse enthusiast to ride, and learn more about horses. A lunch option is available, which will provide your camper a yummy, hot lunch that will be sure to warm them up. We will be following all the necessary health guidelines to mitigate risks.  Click on the picture above to be directed to our website to purchase a few fun-filled days of camp during the holidays.   We are looking forward to bringing some holiday cheer to your camper while they're at Royal Ridges this December.                                

We have already set our sights on the Summer of 2021 and are making plans to operate our Day Camps at this time. Keep an eye out for an update on our Summer plans next month.

Royal Ridges has always been blessed by those who give their time, finances, and expertise to make our programs operate in a fun and safe manner while bringing Glory to God. This year is no different; we couldn't have pulled off our programs without the amazing staff and volunteers that pour their hearts into this camp. We are constantly surprised by the generosity of our local churches and many individual donors that make this place an affordable thriving mission that furthers God's kingdom. We also could not operate without the trust of the parents, grandparents, and families who see the importance of camp in their children's lives and send them every year. We especially want to thank those kids that came this year to camp and created memories and filled this place with their energy and the hills with the noise of happy camperrrs.

We couldn't have made 202o this successful without each and every one of you!
