 PEOPLE

ALIA donates water bottles to the NSW Rural Fire Service

Drink bottles which were initally destined for the >p>ALIA National 2020 conference, before it was cancelled, were donated to the Lake George District Office of the NSW Rural Fire Service, for distribution to the eighteen district brigades. Firefighters from this district were called to defend property and lives during the Black Range Mountain fire east of Canberra and the massive South Coast fires last summer; with many individuals fighting fires for 10 weeks without rest. ALIA hopes that this fire season will not be as challenging, and the spray-drink bottles will be useful on hot days out in the field.
