TRS HighNotes

Dear Readers,

Books not only have the power to inspire but encourage us to do great things by providing a safe space to freely discover a world unlike our own. As 2020 soon comes to an end, Teen Readers Society is delighted to present our very first newsletter. We know how tumultuous this year has been for many families, and with the holiday season finally upon us, now more than ever, we could use a good read. Together, let’s transcend reality and embark on a new journey. Let’s hike the Pacific Crest Trail, breathe in the cold crisp air on Mount Kilimanjaro, solve a mystery, fall in love, and risk it all to save the world.

Building a New Generation of Bookworms

Teen Readers Society is working to reverse declining reading rates by building a global community of young readers, inspiring them to read more and to create engaging conversations around books and reading through their peer groups.

As a grass-roots, 501(c) (3) nonprofit organization Teen Readers Society depends on your charitable donations to keep us going!

Support Us
These funds aid us in continuing our work destigmatizing reading among teenagers and providing programs such as the ones mentioned in this newsletter, removing the physical barriers between teens and great books.

We recognize this is a trying time for many people and appreciate your donations greatly.
Many thanks to the entire TRS team for their work and dedication during this most unusual of years: Afra Tabassum, Lucy Langhart, Mina Yakinya, Olivia Maher, Paulino Cardoso, Ryder Kimball, Serra Utkum Ikiz, Trisha Dang, and Veronique Kulikov. We are grateful to have you all on board.
