Hello and welcome to my latest newsletter. This edition includes: a final chance to have your say in my public survey; thousands of homes protected from crime; delivering on my road safety pledge; recent campaigns I have supported and a discussion with Community Ambassador, Sherrel Fikeis, on Black History Month.

My
office is working in accordance with government guidelines and, whilst we are again able to take phone calls to our usual OPCC number, I would encourage you to contact us by emailing opcc@westmercia.pnn.police.uk Any members of the public needing to call the office can do so between 09:00 and 17:00, Monday - Friday. Please note, due to ongoing Covid-19 working guidelines and social distancing, the number of staff and services available each day is restricted. Please stay safe and look out for each other.
Continue to have your say on key issues impacting you...

The public still have time to join over 1000 other people and participate in the survey below.

With the help of your Council Tax, next year I will set the police and victim services budget, and I am running a public survey to gather your views.

Complete the survey below and let me know your concerns, what your priorities are, what it’s like where you live from a policing perspective and which areas of policing you would choose to spend more or less of your money.

Complete the survey here before Monday 2nd November »

There are now over 60,000 ‘Smartwater’ protected homes across West Mercia, and I am pleased to work with Councillors and contribute 25% towards the cost.

As part of my commitment to making West Mercia's roads safer, I am holding FREE online driver awareness sessions, in partnership with the national driver-education providers.

I support the work being done to protect vulnerable people from romance fraud - a horrible crime that can leave victims financially and emotionally devastated.

It's natural to want companionship, especially during these difficult times, but if someone you are speaking to online is acting suspiciously, don't be afraid to report them.

Remember, using pictures that don't belong to them and asking for money are signs of romance fraud.
