Big Tom's Diner | 1511 Havendale Blvd. NW. | Open 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Enjoy Thanksgiving dinner, featuring roasted turkey with cornbread stuffing and two sides. Plus, did we mention it’s only $12.99? Be sure to call and make reservations here.
Harborside | 2435 7th St. SW. | 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Enjoy Harborside’s annual Thanksgiving Day menu. Guests may order from the standard Thanksgiving menu which is $34.99 per adult from the A La Carte Thanksgiving menu as well. Reservations are currently being accepted for parties of all sizes.
The Club at Eaglebrooke | 1300 Eaglebrooke Blvd. | 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. A popular option, The Club at Eaglebrooke, is only accepting reservation requests at this time for those interested in Thanksgiving dinner. Taste of Home Grill | 502 E. Main St. | Orders must be placed by Monday, Nov. 23. Change it up this year and order your Thanksgiving meal from Taste of Home Grill. Here, meals go for $199 for a family of five and features three packages and multiple sides – including both full pan and half pan options. Juke & B’s Smokehouse | Pickup Location(s) | Orders must be placed by Saturday, Nov. 21.
Be sure to order your meal from Juke & B’s now because orders are happening until Nov. 21...or until they sell out – whichever comes first. And, locally, Bok Tower will hold a musical tribute on the grounds at 1 p.m. and 3 p.m., and veterans will receive free Garden admission. ○ Two of the remaining adult daycare centers in Polk County may be leased out to local social service agencies. The centers (located in Lakeland and Haines City) were closed due to the pandemic shut down and will not reopen due to the vulnerability of seniors’ health. Late October, officials were working with leasing the Lakeland building to Tri-County Human Services Inc. and the Haines City building to Peace River Center for an additional Club Success location. Currently, leasing negotiations are expected to last several months before they’re finalized. (The Ledger)

○ A new municipal amnesty program is set to deploy in Winter Haven for over 400 residents with outstanding code violations in an attempt to settle $1 million. The program was approved by Winter Haven’s Commission on Monday night and decided that, in order to qualify for amnesty, residents must fix all code issues. (The Ledger)

○ Good news, foodies, the Lakeland Food Truck Rally is set to return tomorrow, as long as weather permits. ○ Calling all foodies, Armature Works of Tampa recently shared the news of a new vendor opening up its doors at the food hall. The vendor, Muchachas, features Mexican-style cuisine such as birria quesatacos, street tacos, and more. The new location has yet to announce an opening date, however, Armature Works enthusiasts can follow Muchachas on Instagram. 🌮

○ Fa-la-la-la-Legoland? Starting in just a few weeks – Nov. 27 to be exact, Legoland Florida will kick things off into high gear for the ho-ho-ho-lidays. But wait, there’s myrrh – Legoland will be featuring a new stage show this year called “The Very Merry Mix-Up” which will feature the First Lady of the North Pole, Mrs. Claus, and her helpers.
