QSEC is seeking volunteer Board Directors to help elevate the Queensland Social Enteprise Sector to the next level.

QSEC is currently transitioning to a Company Limited by Guarantee (CLG) and is seeking nominations for the inaugural Board of Directors.

Members will elect up to FIVE (5) Board of Directors (Members only), and a further two (2) appointed Directors (from either Members or Associate Members) will be selected by the elected board.

Nominations CLOSE: 5pm 30th October 2020

Who are you going to vote for next weekend?

We asked all of the candidates where the parties stood on social enterprise.

There are only 9 days until the state election!

To date,13 state government candidates have responded to our request for their position on social enterprise.

12 Greens, who all indicated that they wanted social enterprises to play a major part in economic recovery and supported our aims and objectives.

1 from LNP who did not commit to broad support for the aims and objectives, but knew of the term 'social enterprise' and supported their local charity.
And we are yet to hear from any Labor candidates.
