SUNDAY MASS & BRUNCH
Sunday, Oct. 25 at 11 a.m. at Urban Tap Shadyside

We're going to mix things up this coming Sunday! If you've driven down Highland Ave, you may have spotted that our old favorite brunch spot, Urban Tap, has outdoor dining. For those who are comfortable giving that a try, meet outside of Urban Tap at 11 a.m. when they open or stick around after Mass to go and grab coffee.
Not comfortable dining with a group, no worries! Join us to grab coffee at Adda on S. Highland Ave. and enjoy fellowship outside. Meet up following 9 a.m. Mass at Sacred Heart.

WEDNESDAY MASS & BONFIRE
Wednesdays following 7 p.m. Mass at St. Raphael

We are excited to continue one of our most popular events. Join us this Wednesday following 7:00 p.m. Mass at St. Raphael church for a bonfire. Not sure how to find the fire pit? Meet up at the main entrance following Mass.

Annual Blessing of Pets
Saturday, Oct. 24 at 3 p.m. at St. Raphael

The annual Blessing of the Pets will take place on Saturday, October 24, at 3:00 p.m. in the St. Raphael’s parking lot. All Covid-19 precautions will be in effect, including masks and social distancing.

Fatima Movie at St. Raphael
Saturday, Oct. 24 at 7 p.m. at St. Raphael

Join other parishioners this Saturday to celebrate the month of the Rosary and watch the new movie Fatima! The movie will be screened at 7 p.m. on the lawn behind the rectory at St. Raphael's Church. Please bring a folding chair and blankets in case it gets cold. There will be some refreshments provided, but you are welcome to bring your own.

"The Cenacle"
Thursdays at 7 p.m. at St. Raphael

Join fellow parishioners on Thursday nights in St. Raphael church for "The Cenacle" a time for prayer and catechesis in which we explore the various doctrines of the Catholic Faith and their relevance our lives as Christians. Social Justice Book Discussion
Wednesdays at 7:30 p.m. beginning Nov. 4 on Zoom

Our parish is beginning a six week discussion on Father Bryan Massingale's book, Racial Justice and the Catholic Church. The group will read, discuss, pray and consider how to respond as a faith community. Weekly meetings will be held via Zoom on Wednesdays from 7:30-8:30 p.m. starting Nov. 4. Lectio Divina | Oct. 23, 7 p.m.
Join Oakland Young Adult Ministry for Lectio Divina, the ancient practice of reading and praying over scripture. On Friday, October 23, you are invited to gather in Synod Hall at 7:00 p.m. to pray together, reflect on the Gospel reading for the upcoming Sunday, and faith share. Read more here.

Ultimate Frisbee | Oct. 24, 2 p.m.
Come on out this Saturday, October 24 to join the Catholic Sports and Rec group for Ultimate Frisbee! The group will meet at 2 p.m. at the Schenley Park Oval. Read more here.
 
P3: Prayer, Penance, Pumpkins | Monday, Oct. 26, 2020
The Capuchin Franciscans and Our Lady of the Angels-Maria Goretti Young Adults invite you to join in fall festivities on Monday, October 26th at 7PM. A Holy Hour with praise & worship and confessions will follow Our Lady of the Angels’ 6:30PM Mass. Afterwards, a social will follow with autumnal beverages and snacks, fellowship, and pumpkin carving (BYOP—bring your own pumpkin!). Bring a camp chair and enjoy the crisp fall weather with other Catholic young adults. The social will be held outside, weather permitting. Read more and follow event updates here.

"Discover the One" | Sunday, Nov. 8, 2020

Power the Polls

The county is recruiting Poll Workers so Pittsburgh won't have long lines again at the polls on November 3rd. Based on the number of workers, the County will decide how many polling stations to have. Click here for more details
