Good morning! I've got lots to tell you about today.

First up are my mushy peas. Do you love them? How do you eat them? My favourite way is on a pea-mix which appears to be a delicacy only findable in chip shops in The Midlands. I was shocked when I moved away and chip-shop owners looked at me blankly when I asked for one. The combination of mushy peas poured directly onto the chips is pretty hard to beat - ask any Midlander :)

Going hand in hand with my homemade mushy peas recipe is my guide to food on bonfire night. I have a feeling there will be more people celebrating at home this year, so I've pooled my tips and a handful of great recipes into a blog post to help everybody get prepared.

Finally, if you like gin, you might be interested to hear that I've got a competition running on Instagram to win a lovely little gin hamper. Entrants must have a UK postal address and be 18+. It's open until Sunday - Click here to enter.
