LISTEN BACK
Butterflies were a hot topic on ABC Brisbane last week. Jutta Godwin discussed the BBBC and other butterfly bits and pieces with Morning host Rebecca Levingston. Fast forward to 1:56:55 to listen to the segment here.

We encourage bushcare groups, households and Land for Wildlife properties, schools and others to do counts at their sites. There are counts with easy survey sheets as well as transects - something for everyone. Get a BBBC brochure from our office.

B4C and Powerlink Queensland working together at Minnippi Parklands

The Minnippi to Belmont Hills glider corridor is an important link for our wildlife, especially squirrel gliders.

B4C has been working with Powerlink to restore an existing glider crossing under the powerlines between two parcels of bushland at Minnippi Parklands.

So far the existing glider poles have been accessed for safety, and 12 new nest boxes have been installed on the poles to replace the broken ones.
