- Your weekly hello from 10 Main Street -
Maybe it's the Election, maybe it's just October,
but things are definitely spooky out there!
God, I'd give anything for a drink.
I'd give my god-damned soul for a glass of beer.

New beer heading into the weekend!

Part of a new 'get out the vote' initiative, this double dry hopped American Pale Ale features Simcoe and Idaho 7 hops. Go to ivotedbeer.com for a variety of sources from voter registration verification to a number of charities. As a reminder early voting is currently underway. I voted, have you?

Juiciest Drive Thru Meatballs from Pipeworks Brewing Company

Pipeworks is at it again with a Double IPA hopped with Amarillo, Centennial, and Citra hops and mixed with a bit of Mango Juice. Juicy and complex, it will leave refreshed and ready for another glass.
Wines for the Weekend!
This Beaujolais from Chateau De Pizay offers a shining example of what a Beaujolais can do. Harvested from 45 year old vines in Morgon, 25% of the yeild is aged in new oak while the rest is aged in stainless steel. This allows just the slightest bit of oak on final product, resulting in a fresh, juicy wine with character. Cherry and Strawberry on the nose, fruit forward on the palate, this Beaujolais finishes dry leaving you wanting more.
Next we have a pair of organic wines from Casa de Mouraz in Portugal. On the left is a 100% Encruzado grown on 50+ year old vines. Searing with bright acid, this white offers a soft mouthfeel and a dry palate of citrus and stone fruits.

On the right is a wild blend, grown on vines between 15 and 85 years. Featuring Touriga-Nacional, Jaen, Alfrocheiro, Baga, Rufete, Camarate, Trincadeira, Tinta-Roriz, and Tinta-Carvalha, this bold wine gives notes of ripe fruit and black cherry, with a hint of herb and plenty of minerality to go around.
Short Path Triple Sec

Finally, something affordable to mix with that doesn't cheapen your other spirits! I can't tell you how often I've suffered mixing top notch spirits with bottom shelf Triple Sec instead of biting the bullet and buying Cointreau. Short Path Triple Sec helps fills that gap so you don't have to make the choice between price and quality. Whether you're making a Margarita, Sidecar, Cosmo, Kamikaze, Mai Tai or even the infamous Long Island Iced Tea... local stalwart Short Path Distillery has you covered yet again.
D E M O N  S E E D

Just in time for Halloween, comes a whiskey so evil, so dubious, one might say to drink it would be to court death himself. This Rye was crafted with the devil in mind, infused with Scorpion Pepper, Ginger, and a bit of Maple to draw you in, its the perfect drink to warm you up as the weather worsens, as if stoking the fires of hell itself. Whether you're Rosemary's Baby, Damien from the Omen, one of 'The Brood', a Child of the Corn, or well, a mild mannered person that's not a Demon, this whiskey is sure to comfort you this fall.
Cheers!
