Arts Access is hiring a Program and Administrative Coordinator. This position is part time (20 hours/week); pay is $15-18/hour.

Minimum requirements are:
● Disability knowledge and/or disability lived experience
● Prior experience in the nonprofit sector or grassroots community organization; arts or disability organization a plus
● At least 2 years of experience in office administrative support services
● Associates Degree or BA

Artist Opportunities and Funds

Pivotal Fund Logo
New Artist Relief Fund: To meet the immediate needs of our creative community, the Pivotal Fund's first round of grants will be $800 relief funds for 75 artists who have been financially impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. 
  • Funds are for self-identifying visual artists living in Forsyth, Davidson, Guilford, Randolph, Alamance, Orange, Durham, Chatham, and Wake counties who have been financially impacted by COVID-19 funds. 
  • Fund will prioritize: BIPOC artists, gender non-conforming and transgender artists, and artists with disabilities.
  • Deadline to apply: 12/4/20

FREE Teaching Artist Workshop

Inclusive Pedagogy for Teaching Artists with Heather Bryce

How can Teaching Artists effectively support students with disabilities in inclusive and special education settings? In this two-part FREE professional development workshop, Teaching Artists of all disciplines and levels will participate in an experiential art making session have the opportunity to and create/present their own inclusive mini-lessons and receive feedback from their peers. Teaching Artists from ALL disciplines are encouraged to attend.
 

Session 1: Thursday, January 14th, 3:30 – 5:00 PM
Session 2: Thursday, January 21st, 3:30 – 5:00 PM
