Τι εμοί και σοί? – What do I and you have to do with each other?
These are the words that Legion, the man possessed by thousands of demons, said when he encountered Christ. I will ask the question, do we recognize Christ? As we see in the Gospel lesson according to Luke, not only did the demons recognize Christ, they proclaimed Him, saying, "Jesus, the Son of the Most High God"!
It is our calling as Christians – as followers of Christ to constantly consider our relationship with Christ our God, from our baptism till our last breath. We should always be growing closer to Him – strengthening our relationship.
Τι εμοί και σοί? – What do I and you have to do with each other? What do I and Christ have to do with each other?
May we constantly and continually journey to be closer to Christ, our Lord, and King, and God!
By the intercessions of our holy Fathers, O Christ our God, have mercy on us and save us. Amen!
