A challenge to men
The research is clear ‚if you reach a man for Christ you reach a family more than 85% of the time (Barna). If we are going to grow at Community, we must be intentional about reaching men for the Kingdom of God. We are looking for 2 or 3 men willing to step up to meet the challenge of developing a dynamic ministry for and with men. It is our desire to help men in our congregation grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ and to be intentional about sharing Jesus Christ with the men in our community. If you are up to the challenge‚ contact Dick Garriott at rgarriott@cox.net. 1 Corinthians 16: 13-14 (NASB) 13 Be on the alert, stand firm in the faith, act like men, be strong. 14 Let all that you do be done in love.

Pledge now for 2021
THANK YOU to all the faithful stewards who have made it possible for the church to survive 2020 with strength. Your prayers, presence, gifts, service, and witness have allowed CUMC to weather one of the most difficult storms in modern church history well. We could not do it without you and without God's ongoing providence. If you wish to make a pledge for the year ahead, you can do so at our website: www.cumcvb.org. If this is not possible for you this year due to the economic or personal impact of the pandemic, we understand and please reach out if the church can help in any way.
