Season of Gratitude

This Sunday, October 25, we look into the Book of Deuteronomy. With the death of Moses, we think about leaders and mentors who have guided us along our way. What is their call to us today? And how do our mentors lead us to Jesus's Great Commandment in Matthew, chapter 22? We'll consider this mandate from Jesus to love: we must love God, and love our neighbor as we love ourselves. A simple request, but so very challenging to live out every day.

Rev. Karen Clark Ristine is on vacation this week, and Rev. James Dwyer will lead us in prayer for the world and God's people.

We'll also focus on our stewardship of resources, as we give thanks for the dedicated support of our members and friends throughout the challenging days, weeks, and months of the pandemic. Thank you for your commitment to Claremont United Methodist Church, and to the call of God on all of our lives.
