Cultivating Relationships to Further your Career with Patricia Villegas

Join Alianza, the Native American Staff Council, and the Black Staff and Faculty Organization! In this training you will learn how to network and build relationships virtually to further and advance in your career. You will gain helpful inside tips to:
- Connect with other professionals to approach for mentorship/informational interview/ sponsorship
- How to Introduce and Approach Professionals (emails, LinkedIn etc)
- Learn successful tips on how to build authentic long lasting relationships that will help you grow and give as a professional.
- How to maintain the newly established connections for career advancement.
About the Speaker: Patricia Villegas, MSW, PPSC graduated with her Masters Degree from University Southern California as a Social Work Practitioner with an undergraduate degree from San Jose University with a Bachelors of Art in Social Work. Hire UC Virtual Alumni Career Fair
Company Information Sessions: November 17, 2020 | 10am- 4pm
Individual Candidate Interviews: November 19, 2020 | 10am- 4pm
Looking for your next career opportunity? Join the online upcoming Hire UC Virtual Alumni Career Fair. Participating companies will host group information sessions on 11/17 and candidates will sign up for 1:1 video interviews to meet directly with company representatives on 11/19. Over 70+ employers from a wide variety of industries offering entry-level and experienced positions are expected to participate. This event is free for University of California alumni to attend, but you must register to participate. Further details on signing up for company information sessions and interviews will be provided after you register.
