Zoom Social Gatherings

We love the TV commercial where the guy walks into his patio wearing a button down shirt and his tighty whities, thinking his scheduled meeting is on Zoom, only to find out it’s in person.

Protect Your Home from Wildfires

Author and Realtor Seb Frey, whose column runs in Growing Up, will present a free webinar on how to protect your home and recover from the current disaster.

Frey is working with the FireSafe Council on the webinar which will be by ZoomThursday, October 29 at 4 PM.

Great Library Bookshop is Back

We love the Capitola Friends of the Library Branch Bookstore at the Capitola Mall, but don’t tell our friends those books that look sparkling new and expensive are used, but in fine condition and very affordable.

TheBookstore is now open in a new location next to The Hallmark Store. It's much larger, so they not only have more room for books, but lots of room to spread out.

It’s open now only Saturdays and Sundays from 12 to 4 with more days coming soon.

If you have books, CDs or DVDs in good condition to donate, please email karen@sploids.com for pickup.
