Quarantine!
You have questions, we have answers!

All returned library materials are quarantined for at least 72 hours.  Some materials are quarantined longer - board books and magazines can hold the virus longer so they are being quarantined for at least a week.  We wipe all book covers, DVD cases, and DVDs down with a diluted bleach mixture to ensure that everything is sanitized before it gets into your hands! As you know, we don't collect fines on overdue books.  We do, however, collect fines on DVDs.  With our current quarantine process, we can't be sure that you've returned your DVDs right on time.  Because of this, we are forgiving most DVD fines.  If you have questions about our quarantine process or about your own materials, let us know!  We're always happy to answer questions.
