There’s no Storytime at the library right now, but we’ve got you covered! Each Tuesday until December 22, pick up a Storytime to Go kit. The kits are created for use with children ages two to five to promote early literacy development. Each kit contains themed material of two books, a music CD, craft, activity sheets, and a snack. For us to prepare enough kits, we ask parents and caregivers to register each child individually. Click here to go to the Google Form Sign-Up.
Requested kits can be picked up each Tuesday during our regular open hours. Library materials will be checked out to the requesting parent or caregiver using the normal circulation period. We ask these materials to be returned, along with any great works of art our young artists would like to display in the Children’s Area.
We hope these kits help you spend time talking, singing, writing, playing, and reading with a child fostering a lifelong love for reading and a lifetime of success.
