NOTICE: Certification and Subscriber’s Electronic Signature

A notice has been posted to landtransparency.ca to correct and confirm the signature process for:

• the certification of a transparency declaration and a transparency report by a reporting body; and
• the application of a subscriber’s (defined as 'designate' in the Land Owner Transparency Act or 'LOTA') electronic signature on an execution copy, or a true copy of the execution copy, of a transparency declaration and a transparency report.

The signing process will be the same as the current signing process for land title forms.

PDF Form Templates Now Available

PDF form templates are now available on landtransparency.ca for manual (offline) submissions.

Reminder: LOTA Resources 

Customers are reminded to review the Land Owner Transparency Act (LOTA) to comply with filing requirements to the registry. 

The landtransparency.ca website continues to be updated with new information including the Resources page. Recent additions to the site include Samples of Completed Transparency Records and the Administrator's Requirements for Filing and Applications.
