This bell will toll for prayer for the lives of the unborn. It will toll for parents considering abortion, lest they do so. It will toll for doctors to finally admit that killing an unborn child is contrary to their professional ethos, their calling, and their vocation. In addition, it will toll in prayer for the medical administrations, asking they not compromise the medical staff to break with their conscience, and for the legislative authorities to protect the unborn through appropriate legal acts.
“The bells usually call for the "Angelus" prayer. This prayer refers to the blessed motherhood of Mary. Hearing the bell, we will ask God that each mother, when she learns about her motherhood, accept it, as Our Lady did,” says Professor Bogdan Chazan, Foundation President.
