Live Entertainment at GMM


Join Zumba Instructor Rachel Bills Terry for a 30 min live Zumba at 7:30 pm. 
Rachel has been a Zumba instructor for almost 9 years. She has taught classes at several gyms, currently teaching at the YMCA in Sammamish and 425 Fitness Issaquah, and straight out of her living room on Zoom and live-streamed classes to keep participants (and herself)  moving, happy and healthy during these uncertain times. So move those muscles with your family and dance the blues away!

Nominating Committee

A PTSA can be no more effective than its leadership. The Nominating Committee is a special committee that holds the key to a successful PTSA! The PTSA’s future is determined by the leadership qualities and people skills of the individuals selected by the Nominating Committee.

Open Board/Chair Positions

       
         We are still looking for candidates to fill board and Chair positions
  • Co-VP Enrichment: Responsibilities include coordinating and overseeing current PTA enrichment programs; recruiting the quality candidates to chair the programs; planning and formulating the protocols with program chairs to develop the new programs; working with other board members to promote the programs; attending council training,  monthly board meetings and general membership meetings, etc.

  • VP Advocacy: Responsibilities include learning more about state education and funding policies, and help inform and activate your school community to support positive change.  
  • LWSF Ambassador: They are a key communication liaison between their school and the Foundation to help keep their school community informed about Foundation activities.

  • Staff Appreciation Chair: Staff Appreciation Chair plans appreciation events throughout the year to make teachers and staff members feel loved and cared for.

Art Contest Reflections Theme Search

National PTA is seeking a theme for the 2022-2023 Reflections program year. The student who submits the winning entry will receive $100 and his or her theme will be presented at the annual National PTA Convention in June 2021.

Here's the 2020-2021 Reflections Theme Search Entry Form. The due date for submitting a theme search entry is November 1, 2020.
