Apologies for the small break in mailouts! It marks a changing of the guard as a rider extraordinaire, legend of resilience and avid passenger courier takes the step to coordinating our communications in between jobs (as we like to do things here at Pedal Me, to keep everything lean, efficient, and service focussed!).
I’m known as Yo and I’ll be your comms from here, looking at bringing together interesting mailouts from across the organisation. Is there anything you’d particularly like to see from these in the future? We are also reaching out to any interested in sending us small written pieces about your experience working and collaborating with us. The idea is to share our knowledge so we can improve our workflow here in London. Quicker loading times via understanding of what sizes of packages fit best on our bikes/trailers. Just in case you have been living under a rock over the weekend - we have bad news - the second lockdown is coming from midnight on Thursday. For our business partners - it’s time to fire up those contingency plans. If we can help with your home deliveries or any other initiatives then don’t hesitate to give us a call. We will continue to be riding in force while offering safe and contactless deliveries to homes across London (and occasionally beyond)!
For the stay-at-homers we can take anything across town for you. Clothes you left at your parents house? Online marketplace purchases? Friendly care packages? Or just want a sofa taking up a hill for fun? We are still operating our passenger service with our safety measures for essential journeys. Please ensure your trip follows the latest guidelines including a face mask and hand sanitiser.

The Pedal Me multi-drop solution

Our riders are skilled in the art of neatly packing and stacking packages of different shapes and sizes onto the cargo area of the bike. A large 1000L weatherproof bag is used to protect the goods. We often load our bikes to the safe limit, so that riders can be routed most efficiently. Our distance based pricing model passes that saving onto you, which is how we can work out as the most economical way to deliver around London, fast.
