We need your feedback!

We are asking parish pastoral leaders to please complete a survey of marriage and family ministry. This survey is part of an information gathering process to understand how the Office of Marriage and Family Ministry can better support you and your parish community. We are hoping your answers to this survey will help us determine how we can improve the way the diocesan Office of Marriage and Family Ministry carries out its ministry.
Your participation in this survey is voluntary and anonymous. All of your responses are confidential. The survey will take 15-20 minutes to complete.
Please complete the survey by Friday, October 23, 2020. If you have any questions, or difficulty in accessing the site or completing the survey, contact Lynette Saenz.

Day of Prayer for the Election

Have you considered organizing a day of prayer on November 3rd? Here is one idea from SS. Cosmas and Damian Parish.
  • Church will be open all day, from 7:00 AM until 9:30 PM.
  • All events will be livestreamed.
  • Adoration will be available on the main altar from after morning Mass (8:30 AM) until closing benediction at 9:30 PM. One of the members of our Adorers of the Blessed Sacrament will be present at every hour keeping vigil.
  • Groups have been assigned to specific hours of the day, beginning with hour with prayer and ending the hour with quiet time.
  • Events throughout the day include: Morning Prayer, Rosary, Divine Mercy Chaplet, Music, Guided Prayers, Litany of the Saints, Hour to the Virgin Mary, Evening Prayer, Night Prayer.
  • Each hour will have a separate prayer packet matching the theme. All publicly recited prayers are Catholic and approved by the pastor. The packets may be taken home since they cannot be reused (Covid-19).
  • In front of the altar there is a kneeler and a “Prayer Box” for people to write and drop off private prayer intentions.
  • There are candles to light and leave in front of the altar as a vigil prayer.
