We look forward to a wonderful day of Connect Groups and worship this Sunday. In addition, we have the joy of celebrating the Lord’s Supper together as a church family.
As you enter the sanctuary, there are tables with pre-filled cups for the Lord’s Supper. Each person participating should pick up one and hold it until we are led to observe this remembrance time together. If you are watching the service by livestream, please have juice and bread prepared so you can participate.
Our Lord gave us two ordinances to observe. Baptism and the Lord’s Supper. We have the privilege of witnessing baptisms almost every Sunday as people of all ages make a public commitment of their faith. We observe the Lord’s Supper 4 or 5 times a year.
The Scripture tells is that we are to examine ourselves before taking the Lord’s Supper. Spend time in prayer and the Word before Sunday. Ask the Lord to reveal the state of your heart. Confess sin. Come Sunday clean and ready to worship!
