Join NorQuest and experts at Amii for a day of virtual skills exploration and networking as we pave the path for new AI/ML post-secondary programs in Alberta. During the workshop, attendees will work together breaking down the skills and competencies required to be successful in modern, entry-level AI/ML related roles. These skills and competencies will be explored in detail to determine the necessary learning outcomes for future post-secondary programs to educate entry-level AI/ML workers.
Who this workshop is for: Technical experts in machine learning, artificial intelligence and data analytics who are All-stars at their jobs, actively working in these roles and performing daily AI/ML/DA tasks. This information will be used to assemble an occupational profile for entry-level roles that will guide the development of new curricula that will ladder into higher level programs.

The AI & ML Skills Exploration Workshop for entry-level workers is a rare opportunity for industry members and stakeholders to inform future technology program content at four Alberta post-secondary institutions: NorQuest College, Bow Valley College, Concordia University of Edmonton, and Athabasca University.
