Student Leadership Summit Announced
Officer Leadership Summit / BPA BOOTCAMP Now Combined
In an effort to reduce Zoom fatigue that many are experiencing and to respect hectic schedules, we have combined our Officer Leadership Summit with our BPA BOOTCAMP. This student-focused conference will now be called our Student Leadership Summit and is available to ALL student members.
We have an amazing lineup of presenters consisting of nationally recognized speakers, highly successful former State and National Officers, as well as other BPA ambassadors. The National Officers are finalizing the daily themes which will be released on the National BPA social media platforms soon.

WSAP Guidelines Updated
The WSAP Competitive Event Guidelines and WSAP Style & Reference Manual were both updated to version 1.1 and published in the WSAP Download Center (https://members.bpa.org/download-center) on October 12, 2020. The changes were only grammatical in nature and do not change any of the competitive event guidelines or competition processes.

National Virtual Events Deadline
Registration Deadline is November 15th!
The National Virtual Events offer the opportunity to compete in over ten (10) direct to National Leadership Conference competitions. If you have students interested in competing in one of the ten National Virtual Events, be sure to get them registered soon. The deadline is November 15, 2020, at 11:59 p.m. Eastern.
Registering is easy: just click on the Conference tab in the Member Registration System (register.bpa.org), add the entry fees for each one of the teams or contestants interested in competing and submit an invoice.

Stukent Social Media Marketing Challenge Now Open
Secondary Division BPA Student Members Invited to Participate
There's still time for students to register for the Stukent Social Media Marketing Challenge. The challenge runs through the end of October. This unique competition provides the opportunity for participants to test their social media marketing skills by managing a $50,000 budget in simulated ad dollars for a fictitious company marketing on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube and Pinterest.
The top three competitors who generate the most revenue will be recognized with the following financial awards:
- First Place - $500
- Second Place - $300
- Third Place - $200
Whether your students are virtual, in class, or participating in a hybrid program this year, the Stukent Social Media Marketing Challenge is a great opportunity for them to test their real-world knowledge and have a chance at winning financial awards. Will one of your students be the one to take home top prize in this year’s Stukent Social Media Marketing Challenge?
