A Jewish Perspective on Death
Rabbi Doris J. Dyen was ordained from the Reconstructionist Rabbinical College in Wyncote, PA, near Philadelphia. She is the rabbi for Makom HaLev, an independent havurah ("circle of friends") in Pittsburgh; a certified chaplain at UPMC Magee Womens Hospital; and a spiritual director. She serves on the coordinating committee of the Greater Pittsburgh Interfaith Coalition and is a member of the Pittsburgh chapter of Sisterhood of Salaam-Shalom. She enjoys learning about the cultural heritage of others and sharing customs from her own tradition.
