Our New Building is Almost Open!

Special Membership Opportunity
Our renovation of our new home at 5920 Mt. Vernon is almost complete. Excitement is growing as our new facility is owned by our maker members and will be almost three times the space we had on east Douglas with ample room outside for additional activities.
I am aware that this has been a frustrating process for many of our members as our previous deadlines have not been met. We did not fully understand the complexity and cost of the work required when we set out on this renovation. COVID-19 made that worse. However, we now have contracts in hand to complete the final two required professional installations at our new space of heaters and electricity. The costs are set, and the timetables are firm for a substantial completion of work by Nov. 15th. Which means we can open mid-November with the City of Wichita’s blessing.
What a long road it has been to get to this point. Our last hurdle is funding these contracts. We are asking our existing membership, former members and new members to help us complete the renovation project by paying for an extended membership now, in return we are offering a heck of a deal. Five years of membership for the price of four. Three years for the price of two and a half, and of course our standard one-year membership with a snazzy new T-shirt.
You can help us to reach our goal of fully funding our two remaining projects and opening this Makerspace up, get a great deal on membership and lock in our current pricing for a period of 1 year to 5 years. I am inviting you to please consider purchasing an extended membership so that we can close the gap in our funding and open our shops up to you.
