Wishrock Investment Group has published an Implementation Model on using the EZ Retrofit Assessment Tool to conduct multifamily building energy audits. Created by Stewards of Affordable Housing for the Future, EZ Retrofit is a free, Excel-based DIY audit tool that gives multifamily property owners and managers an easy way to identify cost-effective energy and water efficiency upgrades. Wishrock encountered a shortage of energy efficiency assessment professionals to conduct energy audits for its properties in Mississippi. Using the EZ Retrofit Tool, however, Wishrock was able to hire a consultant to conduct the audits, create scopes of work, and implement the recommended upgrades on their properties.
