The DLM Season Closed Yesterday
We're gearing up for winterization and shrinkwrap season...but before we do, we'd like to take a moment to thank you ALL for your cooperation in making this crazy season happen smoothly and efficiently. Despite the pandemic, we all worked together to make DLM successful and we saw unprecedented usage statistics for almost all of our customers. Some weekdays were as busy as Saturdays...Weekends were crazy busy...but thanks to your cooperation, we all made it through to the end of the season.
A few reminders:
- Winterizations are already in progress. If there is anything you need repaired or looked at, now would be a good time to have us do it (before the boat is shrinkwrapped).
- Many shrinkwraps are already done. If you have anything to remove from your boat, please do so by this weekend. On Monday, all of the remaining boats will be on our list to shrinkwrap.
- The boats are being moved to our satellite yard immediately after being wrapped to make room for winter storage boats. The satellite yard is secure and fenced and is in a "top secret" location.
Be sure to look for an email in January with information about the new DLM smartphone/tablet/computer app we will be using next season. For those without the benefits of modern technology (and you know who you are), call-ins will still be accepted, but most reservations and other requests will need to be made through the app. It'll be so easy a caveman (like Dan) can do it (with apologies to Geico for stealing their line, and to Dan for making fun of him).
Stop by on Halloween and "trick-or-treat" at the office. We'll have refreshments and treats and would love to see you before the winter sets in.
