We have divided our Sabbath Services into two (2) live streams. Our Sabbath School stream begins at 10:15 AM and goes until 11:00 AM. The second stream (church) begins at 11:15. Note the two options as listed above.
Both streams can be found on Facebook, YouTube and Roku. It can also be viewed via mobile app (https:knoxvillefirstsda.com) "live stream." or here (https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCRLMwqZGBMvD1ukcJMeK_2g/live)
For those watching via Roku, your best option for a clear bright picture is: Search for "Boxcast" add that channel to your lineup. Once loaded, select the Boxcast channel, then type in (search) Knoxville First, then select the Sabbath School or Church stream as shown above.

This new arrangement will begin on Sabbath, October 17, and will help to ensure that no program overlaps with another as far as time. Also, the reason why the Adult S.S. class starts at 10:15am instead of 10am is to provide time for musicians to have sound checks in the sanctuary before the worship service. Since the early service will be held in the sanctuary from 9:00am to 9:50am, the 25-minute time space will allow for a sound check before the Adult S.S. sanctuary class starts at 10:15am.
Regarding the early worship service in the church sanctuary, our board also voted that this will be a service that requires each participant/attendee to wear a mask. Some church members feel more comfortable participating in a mask-required worship service, and the board felt it would be appropriate to provide an option for members and families who are in this category. The regular worship service at 11:15am will continue to be a mask-optional service. We are hoping that these two options will provide our church members and their families with the choice to attend the service in which they would feel most comfortable. Here is an order of service for both worship services:

Would you like to "do" the church newsletter? Several years ago, Pastor Pate began publishing a weekly newsletter. When Pastor Pate left, the board wanted to keep the newsletter going and so it has continued until now. It may be that our church membership does not see the need or perhaps it needs a fresh approach. If you would be interested in creating the newsletter each week, let me know.
