Online Survey for Women- and Girl-led Groups,
Organizations and Networks
 

As part of our COVID-19 response strategy, VOICE has established a Global Resource Hub with different platforms through which women’s rights activists, and women- and girl-led groups, organizations, and networks can access a range of violence against women and girls (VAWG) and COVID-19 technical and resource support. This includes: 

1.) Providing immediate technical support and information on VAWG and COVID-19 to women- and girl-led organizations and networks to support their work and activism; 

2.) Bringing together individual activists, groups, and organizations by creating networks and connection at the country, regional and global levels; 

3.) Hosting contact groups, consultations, and conversations in different languages (including Arabic, French, Kurdish, Russian, Sinhala, Spanish, Tamil, and Portuguese), countries, and regions to discuss challenges, share experiences, and strategize on addressing gaps and barriers in accessing VAWG and COVID-19 services;

4.) Supporting visibility and advocacy priorities by amplifying experiences and expertise in creative and safe ways, to better address the intersections of COVID-19 and VAWG.

The Online Survey:

VOICE is carrying out this online survey to understand how COVID-19 and other issues are impacting women and girls, groups, organizations, networks as well as individual activists.  If you are not part of one of these groups yourself, please share the survey link widely with your ecosystem of women's organizations, groups, and networks.  

Information collected through this survey will be used for advocacy with donors and other decision makers in the humanitarian community to highlight the impacts of COVID-19 on VAWG and bring much needed attention to these issues.

The survey will be open until 23 October 2020 for activists, groups, organizations and networks to complete. It is completely voluntary, and all responses are anonymous. The survey is available below in a variety of languages, and should take approximately 40 minutes to complete.
