Help Safeguard the SPUR Holiday Cheer Drive.
With the new challenges presented by COVID-19, our annual drive is in jeopardy.
As any of the more than 150 volunteers who come through our holiday workshop each year can attest, many hands contribute to making sure that over 500 children as well as adults experiencing homelessness receive Bundles of Cheer filled with winter esssentials and meaningful holiday gifts.
We are asking 30 donors to make a gift of $25 NOW to enable us to procure the necessary equipment to protect the health and safety of our volunteers. With your help, we can purchase an electrostatic sprayer and key sanitizing products, enabling us to effectively and efficiently clean our space between volunteer shifts to protect the health and safety of our volunteers and community.
As an organization, we are feeling the financial strain the pandemic has brought and today's realities will require us to invest in additional sanitizing equipment and supplies in order to open our office and execute a drive and other indoor volunteer activities safely.
